  • Take one oil capsule with food and a glass of water in the morning, and one powder capsule with food and a glass of water at night.

    Because both the oil and powder contain high strength doses of GLM, it is likely your body will absorb the nutrients better if you take the two capsules at different times in the day.

  • Q:  How can KUKU assist with joint health?
    A:  Unfortunately normal wear & tear, injury, and medical conditions including arthritis can cause joint cartilage to  become thin and brittle. KUKU contains rich compounds such as glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) which can help the body repair and rebuild damaged cartilage. The unique combination of Omega-3 fatty acids helps to reduce inflammation in the joints, which can lead to a reduction in pain.

    Q:  Why is it beneficial to take both a Green Lipped Mussel oil capsule and a powder capsule each day?
    A:  The Green Lipped Mussel (GLM) oil in KUKU is extracted at an extremely high ratio and contains a unique combination of Omega 3 oils. This makes the oil a very effective natural anti-inflammatory which can help to reduce pain caused by inflammation.  However after much research we established that the Green Lipped Mussel powder retained more of the nutrients found in the fresh GLM. We believe the powder contains more of the nutrients needed for the repair of damaged joint cartilage and joint connective tissue.

    Q:  Why did you not combine the oil and powder into one capsule?
    A:  Because KUKU contains high amounts of both the GLM oil and powder it was not possible to combine the two into one capsule which was suitable for swallowing. The smaller capsule sizes make it easy to swallow.

    Q:  How soon can I expect to see benefit from taking KUKU?
    A:      Results vary from person to person, however it is possible to experience a reduction in pain within 10 days of taking KUKU HIGH STRENGTH oil supplement. For repair of cartilage we recommend you take the KUKU supplement regularly for at least a couple of months.

    Q:  I have arthritis and take a prescription anti-inflammatory every day, why should I switch to KUKU?
    A:     The pain characteristic of arthritis is related to the high level of inflammation in the joints. While over-the-counter pain medications such as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications (NSAIDs) may temporarily relieve the pain, they do not address the underlying cause: local or systemic inflammation. Any injury or infection will cause the body to trigger a response, which is the cause of the pain. In arthritis sufferers, this inflammation-pain signal cycle is never switched off, causing chronic pain.

    NSAIDs are the usual course of treatment for arthritis, however anyone who has taken these pills long term knows they can come with a host of unpleasant side-effects and are not well tolerated by everyone.

    KUKU may provide a natural substitute for NSAIDs, without the long term side-effects, when taken regularly over time.

    Q:  Are there any side-effects of taking Green Lipped Mussel (GLM) supplements?
    A:     If you stick to the recommended dose any side effects of taking GLM supplements are very rare. If you take more than the recommended dose you may experience mild gastrointestinal symptoms including wind and loose bowel motions.

    It is not recommended to take GLM supplements if you have an allergy to seafood.

Amazing Results

Hi. I'm not one whom should write a review on a product as I am the CEO of the DBH Company, however I am making an exception to write a quick review on this product. My story in brief is: Approx 13 years ago I was invited by a contractor of the DBH group to celebrate my birthday with him and complete a walk around the Sky City Tower building here in Auckland, New Zealand. He knew I was not a fan of heights and thought this would really challenge me. It certainly did! Not only did we walk around the Sky Walk, but we finished off the event by Bungy Jumping from the top of the Tower to the base. On landing at the base I felt a sharp pain at impact in my hip area. It felt as if I had dislocated the joint. I later found out that the fall was a wind assisted technique to control the descent, which has since been improved. I believe I am not the only one to have experienced the effect of impact. The joint pain in my hip has in the past 12 months become quite noticeable. Being involved in a lot of product development within DBH, and asking people to trial new products I can at times miss out on the great opportunities of these events...its only of recent I started to take the Kuku Oil capsules ( one per day) and hooray...I am feeling so much better in my hip area. I am sleeping better and in general not conscious of the dull but relentless effect of discomfort in my hip area that I have been experiencing. I have always been a great admirer of our products, but for me, this is a product with real x factor.

It Works

I have Osteoarthritis in both legs/ knees and they have been suffering from stiff and inflexible joints for about 10 months now so lots of limping and sore hips. After 3-4 weeks of Kuku they are definitely more flexible and less "stiff" and I am walking without limping so very little pain in my knees and hips now. Much prefer Kuku than the anti-inflammatory I was prescribed as Kuku has no bad side effects. You definitely have to give it 3-4 weeks to feel any benefit from it.

Hi everyone I have been a Deep Blue Customer for a number of years now primary purchase Omega 3.
I believe this product has helped me I do 2000mgs a day but recently I have had hip problems with my new job in a factory totally New World to me I have been sitting in an office but Covid got the better of the Company I was working for, So Yes standing in stationary positions for hours on end and the hips are saying this is not good so I purchased Green Lipped Mussle Oil or KUKU so far there is an improvement but Yes I am looking at this long term and there has only been a few weeks but I am noticing a change for the better, hope it works.

Amazing Product!

This product could have not come at a better time for my knee joints. I've been taking Kuku for three weeks and what a difference it has made with the pain in my knees and the inflammation I was experiencing. I would definitely recommend Kuku if you are having joint pains and inflammation.
