Deep Blue Health New Zealand Limited (Deep Blue Health)
collects some personal data from you when you place an order, register an account or subscribe to our e-newsletter. We use this information to provide the services requested, maintain guarantee records and if you agree, to send you information about products and special offers through our e-newsletter.

What personally identifiable information is collected?

Deep Blue Health collects information from it's customers in a fair and lawful manner for the purposes of customer identification, providing services and billing and related administration.

When you place an order on our website we collect data, such as name, address, e-mail address, and telephone numbers for customers through the checkout on the Deep Blue Health e-commerce site.

E-newsletter

If you choose to subscribe to our e-newsletter Deep Blue Health will retain your email address, name and country of billing for the purpose of direct marketing campaigns. Customers and prospects are not obliged to provide such information and may choose to opt-out of such direct marketing campaigns by contacting info@deepbluehealth.co.nz. You can also unsubscribe to newsletters but clicking on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email.

Deep Blue Health may keep a record of any correspondence with customers and newsletter subscribers until it is no longer necessary.

We do not share your personal data with any other organisation for the purposes of marketing.

Uses made of the information

Deep Blue Health uses information held about you in the following ways:

To provide you with information and services that you request from Deep Blue Health or which Deep Blue Health feels may interest you, where you have consented for such purposes;

  • To carry out its obligations in any contracts with you;
  • To allow you to participate in interactive features of the Deep Blue Health service, when you choose to do so; and
  • To notify you about the changes to the Deep Blue Health service, including new product announcements.
  • To conduct internal administration of Deep Blue Health's business.

Are Cookies used?

Deep Blue Health may collect information about your computer and browsing preferences, including where available your IP address, operating system and browser type, for system administration purposes. This is statistical data about website visitor's browsing actions and patterns, and does not identify any individual.

Re-marketing Cookies

Deep Blue Health also uses 3rd party vendor re-marketing tracking cookies, including the Google Adwords tracking cookie. If you accept this cookie the advertising display network will display relevant ads tailored to you based on what parts of the Deep Blue Health website you have viewed by placing a cookie on to your web browser. THIS COOKIE DOES NOT IN ANYWAY IDENTIFY YOU OR GIVE ACCESS TO YOUR COMPUTER. The display advertising network allows us to tailor our marketing to better suit your needs and only display ads that are relevant to you.

This allows us to make special offers and continue to market our services to those who have shown interest in our service.

You may refuse to accept cookies by changing the setting on your browser which allows you to refuse the setting of cookies. However, if you select this setting you may be unable to access certain parts or functionality of the Deep Blue Health website. Third Party Data Processors

Deep Blue Health uses Shopify and MailChimp to store customer data and for the distribution emails. Both of these companies use very secure systems and are GDPR compliant.

Deep Blue Health does not permit third party vendors to use customer personal data for any purpose outside of those disclosed within this privacy policy.

Deep Blue Health Ltd may disclose your personal data only:

  • In the event that Deep Blue Health sells or buys any business or assets, in which case Deep Blue Health may disclose your personal data to the prospective seller or buyer of such business or assets;
  • If Deep Blue Health or substantially all of its assets are acquired by a third party, in which case personal data held by it about its customers will be one of the transferred assets;
  • If Deep Blue Health is under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation;
  • To protect the rights, property or safety of Deep Blue Health or its customers, which includes exchanging information with payment gateways for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.

Securing your personal data

All information you provide to Deep Blue Health is stored on secure servers. We do not see or store your credit card details. Where Deep Blue Health has given you a password which enables you to access certain parts of the Deep Blue Health website, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential.

Once Deep Blue Health has received your information, Deep Blue Health will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.

The Deep Blue Health website may from time to time contain links to external websites. Deep Blue Health encourages its customers to review the privacy and security policies of any externally linked websites. Deep Blue Health assumes no responsibility or liability for the information, collection and disclosure practices of any sites that a user can access through the Deep Blue Health website. Please check the privacy policies of external websites before you submit any personal data to them.

Can I change or delete information secured?

Deep Blue Health does its utmost to ensure the quality and accuracy of the customer personal data in its possession, and as such invites newsletter subscribers and customers of the service to access or update their details as necessary. Deep Blue Health is committed to providing reasonable and practical access to allow visitors the opportunity to identify and correct any inaccurate details we may hold. If you have an account with us this can be done by logging into your account and editing the details. If you do not have an account with us you can email us at info@deepbluehealth.co.nz.

Deep Blue Health shall respond to your data access request within 30 days of receiving your request. If Deep Blue Health is unable to respond to your request within such period Deep Blue Health shall notify you of the reason why Deep Blue Health is so unable.

Should subscribers and customers subsequently choose to unsubscribe from mailing lists they can do so by following the instructions on how to unsubscribe provided in all Deep Blue Health communications.

On request, Deep Blue Health will delete personally identifiable information that has been submitted from the current database. As a general principle, Deep Blue Health will retain customer records for 7 years.

Children's Online Privacy Protection

The Deep Blue Health service is directed towards adult business users. Deep Blue Health does not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 16. Children under the age of 16 should not use the Deep Blue Health website or submit information to Deep Blue Health Ltd.

Changes to our privacy policy

Any changes that Deep Blue Health makes to this Customer Privacy Policy shall be posted on the Deep Blue Health website. This policy was last updated on the 28 August 2018.
